HIA Member Code of Ethics
As a member we adhere to the following principles:
- provide products and services with competence, fairness,
value, honesty and integrity;
- ensure that all products and services provided are delivered
as advertised, and that all claims made are genuine;
- ensure that standards of workmanship are provided as
promised to the customer, in accordance with the appropriate
industry practice for the class of work concerned, and in
a manner which shall enhance the reputation of the industry;
- at all times conduct business in free and fair competition,
and refrain from making any misleading and untrue statements
about other members; and
- avoid any actions which might bring HIA and its members
into disrepute.

At Bailey the Builder, we follow the HIA Code of Ethics.
Before we start a job, we also ask that all clients sign and
return a Building Agreement.
This document is a contract which defines the cost and extent
of works.
